Importing inventory from a CSV can only be done via the Online Shop Portal (formerly WIMS) on a desktop. To import inventory, first schedule a future stream via the steps FOUND HERE.
Once you’ve scheduled your stream, ensure the appropriate stream is selected, and tap the CSV Import button on the top right of your screen.
This will open a pane on the right side of your browser window. In this pane, you can simply drag and drop your file, or click to select it from your File Explorer. Tapping the arrow next to “CSV Upload Guidelines” will provide more information on the requirements for the document.
In this screen, you will see all of the compatibility requirements necessary for a successful inventory import. There is also a Download Sample option at the bottom, which is recommended for at least your first upload.
This sample document is formatted for quick input of your inventory. In the document, there are two tabs. The first tab is pre-formatted and ready for your input! On this tab, be sure to appropriately set the “Live Stream” and “Available for Pre-Sale” options based on your preferences, and enter your Item Titles, Prices, Quantity, and Category.
The second tab outlines accepted categories, as well as provides full team lists for most-often used leagues.
Once you’ve completed your inventory sheet, save the sheet as a CSV file, and then simply drag and drop (or select) the sheet into the appropriate space, and it will import!
Note for Windows (Excel) Users: When saving as a CSV file, you may be presented with this notification:
Ensure the active sheet is your inventory, and simply click ok. This will save the active sheet as a CSV file.
Once imported, you will be presented with a preview to review your items and settings.
Once you’ve verified everything appears correct, simply click “Create Items”, and then “Confirm” to confirm your upload.
Once confirmed, those items will populate as normal into your scheduled stream’s inventory.
Important Notes for Inventory Management
- CSV Import can be used to add, but not remove, items on a stream with existing inventory.
- If a CSV with an item name matching an item that already exists in the stream’s inventory is uploaded, the quantity listed in the CSV will be added to the pre-existing quantity. For example, if you have 10 boxes of Topps Chrome currently available in your inventory, and upload a CSV with the same line item showing 10 Topps Chrome, the items will be merged, and the quantity will change to 20.
- Item quantity has a maximum quantity value of 5,000
- Items not intended to be included in a break should not have a break tag
- The break tag must be applied to each item in the intended break within the CSV to populate correctly
