Initial Settings for OBS
These instructions apply to OBS (not Streamlabs)
- Downloads:

- Choose the appropriate download based on your operating system.
Once OBS is installed on your system, use these settings:
- General Settings
- Click File > Settings
- Click Stream
- Switch Service to Amazon IVS
- Server should be Auto (RTMPS, Recommended)
- Input your Stream Key
- Find your Stream Key at loupetheapp.com/admin/settings
- Enable Multitrack Video by clicking checkbox next to option
- Click Output
- Switch Output Mode to Simple
*If you get an error message of “GPU driver doesn't support multitrack”, upgrade video drivers and try again. If that fails, try switching to Advanced Output with the specified settings. Use the Advanced Output Mode (below) only if you got an error message of “GPU driver doesn't support multitrack” and upgrading your video drivers was not successful.
- Switch Output Mode to Advanced
- Streaming tab
- Audio Encoder: AAC or FFmpeg AAC
- Video Encoder: x264
- Rescale Output: Disabled, 720x1280
- Rate Control: CBR
- Bitrate: 2500 Kbps
- Keyframe Interval: 1 s
- CPU Usage Preset: veryfast
- Profile: baseline
- Tune: zerolatency
- x264 Options: bfames=0 sliced-threads=0
- Streaming tab
- Click Video Settings
- Set both base and output resolutions to 720x1280 (Aspect Ratio 9:16)
- Set Common FPS Values to 30
- These default settings will reduce stream lag and will get the application prepared to send the signal into Loupe for OBS use.
